BABINGTON MACAULAY JUNIOR SEMINARY
Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary, owned by the Anglican Diocese in Lagos, has resolved to inject meaningful development into secondary education by setting up this co-educational setting, where boys and girls learn together. Our three cardinal aims are to attain: Excellent Spiritual Growth, Excellent Moral Standard that will culminate in Excellent Academic Performance. The school is strictly boarding to allow for 100% attention and care for the learning, spiritual, and social lives of the students. The institution still encourages students to develop their diverse gifts unhindered to the fullest via the various psychomotor and affective oriented preparations.
We expose our students to some basic theological studies in order to prepare them for a better and balanced Christ-centered world view. As the Bible enjoins “Teach a child in the way he should go…” STAFFING: This institution is blessed with highly dedicated and well-seasoned, experienced tutors and examiners who are equally versatile administrators, bent on
translating the VISION of the school to REALITY. The introduction of the new UBE policy of 9 – 3 – 4 system of education has afforded us opportunity to be closer to the students better than before. The performance of our students in Junior School Basic Education Certificate Examination programme in both state and National Examinations Council, has been crowned with wonderful success, and our WAEC, NABTEB and NECO O/Level SSCE and Cambridge University GCE (track records of success) and SSCE performance will make the choice of our school come first to mind, when parents are thinking about which school their children should attend.
